Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunity to evaluate myself as a surveyor. As a surveyor, I have been working in the project department of Hengyuan Company for more than six months. In these days, I have experienced both success and failure, joy and distress. Under the leadership and guidance of my superiors and with the full support and help of my colleagues, my professional ability has been greatly improved.
From my daily work, I understand our company's shortcomings and the direction of our efforts. I am primarily engaged in tasks such as construction tests and measurements in the project department. Besides my work in the construction department, I also strive to learn from my colleagues about their knowledge and communication skills. Although I acknowledge that my experience and skills are inadequate, and my practice is also flawed, I am not afraid to ask questions, and with access to information and drawings, I feel that I have learned a lot every day.

Additionally, in terms of technical work such as municipal road engineering survey and line measurement which are very important for our company, it is inseparable from the whole process of construction, from pre-construction preparation to construction completion, to final acceptance after construction. Being able to quickly and accurately perform line measurement is a fundamental technical skill and a basic requirement for success in this field.
Before the commencement of the project, the survey and design unit is responsible for conducting on-site surveying and settlement according to the design documents. The site's standard points, conductor piles and crossing point piles must be clearly identified according to the design drawings. During the measurement of these signs, appropriate protective measures must be taken. At the end of the measurement, it is necessary to protect the position of the pile, which means that after the design unit has completed the pile identification, it should use brick piles or poured cement piles in a timely manner to protect them from being destroyed or lost. These piles are generally located in farmland or residential areas and are prone to be destroyed by human activities. Once destroyed, it will cause delays in construction as well as increase costs for both parties.
For midline retest and edge lofting, it is necessary to pay attention to several key points such as ensuring consistency between intersections in terms of distance and direction with design drawings. If there are multiple tenders within a project, it is important to ensure that adjacent tenders are closed during midline measurements. Attention should also be paid to closing between structural elements such as bridges and culverts as well as ensuring consistency between buildings on site with drawings provided by design units during construction process review meetings.
